Brown Belts will learn how to grow their wealth via investment strategies aimed at business, property and other assets.  The goal of the Brown Belt is to become a multiple 7-figure business operator.

 Brown Belt: Be Your Own Bank

FMF: Certified Brown Belts will be trained and experienced in strategies to become your own bank. Leverage extends far beyond property as assets. An FMF: Certified Brown Belt will be able to leverage multiple assets to support greater asset purchases at a faster rate.

Many training companies teach how to leverage property as an asset. We will train you to leverage a much wider asset class.

 

Brown Belt Business Investing: Business Growth

Brown Belt learners will have at least one established business already and this unit will be focused on growth for that business using a combination of:

  • Bolt-on additional products or services you can offer to clients
  • Acquisition of an existing business using leverage (no money down)
  • Application of business systems to reduce your operational dependency

Brown Belt: Property Investing

Brown Belts will be trained in multiple facets of property investing. Unlike many other property training companies, you will learn a range of property investment strategies fully included in your course.

Brown Belt Property Investing: Buy, Refurbish, Rent, Refinance (BRRR)

All Brown Belt learners will have access to the Buy, Refurbish, Rent, Refinance (BRRR) strategy as part of their membership.

The BRRR is considered the foundation for many property investment strategies because the lessons learned here will apply to much more complex property investments later in your journey.

Unlike every known property training available on the market (June, 2026) FMF Brown Belts will also be trained in legal compliance for construction safety by a Chartered Builder and a Chartered Safety Professional, fully inclusive in the training.

We advocate for responsible property landlords so will also provide a discounted membership to the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) as part of your membership.

Brown Belt Property Investing: Property Sourcing

Property Sourcing involves a person or company finding (called "sourcing") properties for another individual or company. There are many training providers who teach this method to people who may not have sufficient funds to invest in property directly. However, there are significant legal and civil requirements to becoming a property deal sourcer.

FMF: Brown Belt Learners will have access to a full range of learning, resources and guidance to support them in this interesting bolt-on style business.

 

Brown Belt Property Investing: Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO)

Brown Belt learners will have access to real case studies of residential conversion to Houses in Multiple Occupation.

Viewed by some property investors as a method to maximise the value of a residential property by converting it into 5 or more bedrooms so that you would have 5 (or more) tenants in the property.

You will learn how this works, including:

  • Identifying suitable property
  • Identifying the area to meet need
  • Refurbishment finishes v tenant avatars
  • How to maximise your refinance
